Alex Case is the COO for Cordillera Applications Group, a research and operations firm providing risk analysis, monitoring and specialized field teams to de-risk client’s projects.
Recent work with Cordillera’s clients has included public safety design for urbanized areas, research into urban fragility for DARPA, conceptual and governance studies for both foreign governments and NATO, and developing common operating pictures through the use of fixed and mobile sensors for a large US city.
Alex has previously provided business development and service delivery consultancy to a telemedicine start up and a US oil and gas company in Africa and an international security and training business pipeline for Constellis in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South America.
Prior to the commercial sector Alex served 23 years in the United Kingdom’s Royal Marines Commandos in operational, training and staff positions in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served two tours with NATO’s Allied Command Transformation Headquarters in Virginia and two tours with the USMC.
Alex Case is a graduate of the UK’s Advanced Command and Staff Course, holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Industrial Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and a Masters in Defense Studies from King’s College London.
Alex Case is a US Permanent Resident and resides in Virginia.
